Wounded Warrior Project - Double Tap Fitness
What is the Wounded Warrior Project? I had first heard about it when I was in the army, just before I went on my first deployment. Prior to every deployment, we had the opportunity to consult the Warrior Support Program in regards to any problems we have that may prevent us from concentrating on our mission overseas.
Warrior Support works hand in hand with the Wounded Warrior Project. It is a non-profit organization that helps veteran and active duty service members by providing resources and services. It was founded in 2003 in Virginia, "by a group of veterans and friends who took action to help the injured service men and women of this generation."
Since 2019, over 168,000 warriors, family members and caregivers have been registered with the Wounded Warrior Project. The project offers free mental health service, rehabilitation, career counselling, and policy advocacy.
When you purchase from Double Tap Fitness, we will make sure that we pass over 10% of profits to the Wounded Warrior Project.
